A Day in the Life
Is it just me or are you super nosy about other people’s lives? I always wonder how others manage to cram so much into one day! So I’ve seen a lot of these A Day in the Life posts around on other blogs and I decided to do one now so I can compare it to my life with a newborn later! Brace yourself, my life is thrilling to say the least. Haha.
7 am– Alarm goes off. Blog post goes live (well-fingers crossed it does). Roll out of bed. (Yes, I realize this is probably a lot later than most people get up for the day). Make coffee and jump in shower.
7:20 am– Watch the Today Show while getting ready for work and drinking coffee. I’m an avid viewer.
7:45 am– Take some photos for blog while I have some natural light available.
8 am– Pack my bags up for work. Make breakfast and lunch to go.
8:20 or 8:40 am– Depending on how fast/slow I am in the morning I am downstairs to catch the shuttle bus. I live allllll the way east meaning that the closest subway is four avenues away. It’s a decent walk and the city bus is very very slow in the morning. Luckily the management company for our building provides us with a free shuttle service to take us directly to the subway! It runs every 20 minutes.
9 am– At work eating breakfast. I check in on some blogs, schedule my social media for the day and check emails.
9:30 am to 1 pm– Spend the morning working on projects with some blog breaks in between. I have a heavy workload at the moment so I’m trying to get as much done as possible while still maintaining high quality. Not an easy task my friends.
1 pm– Hooray! It’s lunch time! I have a whole lunch schedule that I follow because I’m weird like that!
2 pm– I’m back at my desk trying to push through as much work as possible. I’m also juggling blog emails, Levo League emails and my never-ending to do list.
6 pm- It’s quitting time! Head home.
6:40 pm -Arrive home and change into workout gear.
7 pm to 8 pm- It’s workout time! I’m still working out even at 36 weeks pregnant!
8 pm- I’m starving! Time to make dinner. Hopefully it’s something relatively easy to make on the menu!
8:40 pm- Sit down to eat and watch a TV Show. I usually watch shows On Demand so hopefully I can pick something good tonight like Modern Family, the Good Wife or Homeland.
9:40 pm- Start blog post for tomorrow. Blog away!
10:40 pm- Shut down laptop and start getting ready for bed.
11 pm- Hit the hay for hopefully a restful night!
Readers, what does your daily schedule look like? Do you prefer morning or evening workouts? What time do you rise and shine?
