First up, I have another exciting Levo League Event to tell you about!  This month we are partnering with DMF (Dance Motivation Fitness) for a *free* class on Thursday, August 21st at 6pm.  It’s going to be an amazing dance party plus a chance to network and meet other professional women just like you!  You can read about DMF here , here and here.  And to RSVP to the event, go here.  Hope to see you there!

So remember when I told you all about the fabulous new Reebok FitHub in Union Square?  Well, I was back there this week for another free class!  I was super excited to take Les Mills BodyStep with Program Director, Mark Nu’u.  I started taking BodyStep way way back when I lived in Australia and always try to get to a class whenever  back. When I heard this was happening, I was going come he’ll or high water (or baby).

The great part about the class was that Mark gave fantastic modifications because this class can be really intense. I was nervous before class knowing that it is super tough, but I ended up doing great keeping my step height low and modifying jumping moves.  It was still such a good workout!  My calves were sore!  So much fun.

I kind of geek out getting to meet people like Mark because I feel like I hear about them all the time so they are super famous in my book!  I mentioned this back when I took a master class with Loretta Bates for Zumba.  I’m such a nerd!  But I feel really really lucky to get these experiences living in NYC, even if no one gets up for me and my big belly on the subway! #worthit

Readers, how many times a week do you cook dinner?  Who do you geek out about?  What’s the best part about where you live?
