Problem Solving and Yoga

Problem solving and yoga seem to go hand in hand with each other.  Problems make you want to pull your hair out, solving them is such an effort and then you need yoga to relax!

I seem to be running into a multitude of problems lately!  Our things are still stuck in customs meaning we are without most of our home goods including bowls, plates and linens.  And more crucially, we are out of some important baby things!

Cooper has always been an excellent sleeper.  He slept through the night for the first time (12am-7am) when he was just a few weeks old.  Since then he has either only woken up once a night or has been able to sleep all the way through.  Then on Sunday, for no apparent reason at all, he decided it was time to wake up every two hours and that is now how we sleep.  Mom is tired.  So very, very tired.

(Who me? I just have so much to say!)

There is very loud drilling in the apartment above us.  This does not bode well for the sleep deprived.

Pete is back in NYC this week.  Since we arrived in Brazil, he has been back to the US twice!  This means all wake-ups are on me.

Oh and in case you’ve been wondering where I have been lately, my website got hacked and domain.com shut it down.  So frustrating.  I had to hire someone to help me get it un-hacked.  I’m also switching hosting providers.  Bloggers, domain.com is TERRIBLE!  Do not use them and if you do, switch immediately.  I’ve heard Bluehost is pretty good so I’m going there.  Does anyone else have an opinion?

Ok, I think that is enough complaining for now (I could go on but do you really need to know all the details?).

As you may be able to tell, I’ve been needing some yoga in my life lately.  Lucky for me, my good friend Nicole from Foodie Loves Fitness was a challenge leader for #TakeTheLeap Yoga Challenge hosted on Instagram during the month of February by Prana yoga wear and Fitapproach (I’m a Sweatpink Ambassador!).

bloggy friends 1(Me and Nicole when I was still preggers!)

Everyday Nicole posted an awesome photo of her doing a yoga pose and encouraged her followers to join her.  Because I love yoga and a good challenge, I decided to join in.  Even just spending one minute a day doing one pose really required me to forget all my problems and focus on other things.  Yoga is good like that.  Here’s a little collage of the challenge!

Seriously folks, life isn’t that bad.  It’s problems and problem solving.  Our stuff will be released from customs eventually, the drilling will stop (hopefully soon), Pete is bringing back all kinds of goodies from the US (I have never been so excited for a soap.com order in my life!) and my website is working (for now).  And if you have any tips on helping me get Cooper to sleep through the night again or at least not wake up every two hours, please please please tell me!!

Readers, do you use yoga to destress?  I appeal again for sleep tips!  Bloggers, do you like your hosting provider?  Any tips on avoiding hacking and spam?
