A Guide to Your Fittest Pregnancy

It wasn’t that long ago that pregnant women were expected to take it easy and spend nine months putting their feet up. While pregnant women definitely need to rest, they can also benefit from regular exercise. Exercise during pregnancy helps with a myriad of pregnancy symptoms, assists in maintaining strength, prepares women for the physical demand of childbirth (they don’t call it labor for nothing) and helps women recover faster. It also helps regulate weight gain and provides benefits for the baby. A fit mama is a healthy mama!

I’ve tried to stay as healthy as possible during my pregnancy. My philosophy was to exercise if it felt good and eat healthy to nourish the baby.
